June L. Cromwell, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 19, 2026.
June was an intelligent, strong-willed, and compassionate woman with a mind of her own. She was never afraid to speak her truth and had a deep empathy for those who were struggling. She noticed people who needed help and often responded with kindness. Whether stopping to help a stranger on the side of the road or opening her home to someone who had nowhere else to go, June had a generous heart and a willingness to help others.
June loved her family deeply and adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Gloria Cromwell; her daughter, Kimberly Herndon Mansilla; her niece, Alex Cromwell and her grandchildren, Maxwell and Nina Mansilla.
She will also be remembered for her beautiful handwriting and her distinctive, beautiful speaking voice, as well as for the strength of her personality and the depth of her feelings.
At June’s request, there will be no funeral service. Her family will remember her privately and cherish the memories they shared. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
She will be missed and remembered with love.
